Who’s attending?

Lisa Lueck (Organizer – Regina, SK)
Lisa currently resides in cozy Regina, Saskatchewan.  She brings over 18 years of IT experience successfully implementing multidimensional projects in a variety of roles.  She is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, holds her CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), and CDAP (Certified Disciplined Agile Practitioner) designations. The last 4 years have focused on process improvement, lean change management and leading an agile transformation at The Co-operators Life Insurance Company. Lisa is passionate about her work creating a culture of trust, transparency, fun, collaboration and continuous improvement.  In her spare time she enjoys teaching at the gym, spending time with friends and family and mixing martinis.

James Shew (Organizer – Vancouver, BC)
James has been some sort of agilist for about 4 years and been agile-minded for much longer. He helps teams and companies try to reconcile the ridiculousness of their processes and mindset with reality; trying to help them focus on what they really want to do through coaching, facilitation, mentoring, and other trickery. Every once in a while he has an introspective moment to explore his own ridiculous mindset, gets scared, and then loads up Netflix. When he isn’t working (or watching Netflix) you might find him playing hockey, volleyball, or making self-deprecating jokes in (un)conference bios.

Simon Lanoix (Organizer – Victoria, BC)
Simon has over 30 years of experience in information technology and geospatial technologies. He has demonstrated success managing accounts, programs and large projects within industries such as land management, forestry, energy, health, social services and justice. Simon grew-up in Ottawa, lived in Edmonton through the eighties, and finally made his home on Vancouver Island 25 years ago. Some say he left Edmonton because Wayne Gretzky left for Los Angeles in 1988. Simon’s version is that he moved to Vancouver Island to be part of a small vibrant community and to enjoy the outdoors.

Mack Adams (Organizer – Victoria, BC)
Mack is an agile Facilitator, Coach and Guide who works in the area of product management, organizational design and guiding agile change.  He’s worked and lived in Canada, the USA, India, England and France, presents regularly at conferences and is the organizer of Agile Victoria.

Jonathan Hyatt (Organizer – Calgary, AB)
Jonathan first started practicing Agile in 2000 while working for a security start-up. Since then, he has worked as an independent technology consultant using a variety of Agile methodologies for software development. He has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, is a Certified Scrum Master, a PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), a Certified Agile Coach and holds a Certificate in Project Management from MRU. Jonathan is a volunteer organizer for  Calgary Agile Methods User Group and Agile Open Canada. He enjoys cross-country & downhill mountain biking, snowboarding, mountaineering as well as technology.

Klaus Boedker (Organizer – Vancouver, BC)
Hi there! I am Klaus. An agile coach with Scott Ambler + Assiociates, facilitator of change, and play with LEGO any chance I get. I use play-with-a-purpose, disciplined agile, and human-centred design to enable organizations to sense and adapt to change. I am a big believer in openness and transparency, and in sharing your experiences and insights for the better of the community. I look forward to connecting at the Open Space.
